Built from a necked-down 6.5 Creedmoor case, it launches high-BC 80-grain bullets at roughly 3,300 fps, delivering flatter trajectories, less wind drift, and greater retained energy than the .22-250 at long range. The cartridge excels for coyotes and other predators while producing relatively mild recoil. Horizon’s Vandal rifle demonstrated sub-half-MOA accuracy with factory ammunition.
